LEAD Institute Program for High Potential Managers:

Program Information

The Maryland World Class Manufacturing Consortium is pleased to bring you this program offering from Kelly Petrock, one of our principal MWCMC consultants. This LEAD Program is scheduled for April 30 through May 3, 2007 and will be conducted at the Turf Valley Resort at Ellicott City, Maryland.

LEAD, having more than 20 years of success behind it, is an established, high quality executive education and leadership development program. LEAD is not just another theory course on leadership. It is in reality a hard working planned change process. At LEAD your managers actually develop change plans to improve the performance of their work units, transform its culture and make it a better place in which to work.

They also use 360° leadership survey feedback and personalized coaching from the faculty to determine how to improve their approach to leading and managing so as to bring out the best in others. In addition, while at LEAD your managers assess their personal styles to see what they need to do to have a more positive impact on others.

Who should attend LEAD?

LEAD Institute for high potential managers is an excellent developmental process for managers who manage other managers and/or who have direct reports. It is not as beneficial for staff who are individual contributors and not in a managerial or supervisory role. These managers would include managers with diverse role responsibilities such as finance, sales and marketing, operations, research, human resources, engineering, maintenance, facilities and construction, information systems, among others.
